Instrumental Lessons
A wide variety of Instrumental Lessons on violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn and percussion are provided by our own highly skilled and experienced team of professional freelance staff. We currently average approximately 150 lessons per term and pupils are encouraged to study for Associated Board grade exams.
How do Instrumental Lessons at HHJS Work?
We are proud at HHJS to have our own Visiting Music Teachers, all professional musicians who teach on a freelance basis at the school, enabling our pupils to have the option of individual or paired lessons and the benefits of short waiting lists, excellent progress and direct communication between parent and teacher, similar to a private lesson.
All music lessons are during the school day with the times rotated.
Please contact Mrs Humphries, via the school office, for further information. Applications for lessons with HHJS Visiting Music Teachers can be obtained directly from the school office.
