Hampton Hill Junior School

School Journey 2017

Wednesday morning update

We have enjoyed another busy day at Little Canada. The children have thrown themselves into the activities on offer with gusto. There has been some light rain, but that didn't dampen our good spirits! Several of us have caught sight of red squirrels as we have walked around the site. The activities enjoyed today have been: abseiling, trapeze, climbing, giant swing, fencing, problem solving and a beach walk.

Here are some of the children's thoughts about their day;

'I loved giant swing, especially when it swung down, although we did have butterflies!' Isabella and Lola

'Climbing was challenging, really hard, but once you get to the top you are really proud of yourself.' Jordan and Leandro

'Fencing is a good skill to learn. The warm ups were enjoyable. It was hard to learn but it was worth it.' Sami, Marcus and Beatrice

'The trapeze was pretty terrifying if you are scared of heights. When I got to the top I didn't look down I just jumped! It was a great achievement!' Vinny

Everyone is looking forward to Mr Went arriving and the walk across Tennyson Down.
