Our School Garden in the Summer!

Mae, Iowa and Imogen gave us a tour of the school garden this week.  Carrots, radishes, spinach, dwarf beans, pears, tomatoes, garlic, strawberries, gooseberries and some lovely flowers can all be found! In the greenhouse you can also find herbs, ginger and cornflower. Creating such a wonderful space takes lots of work and a team of children, lead by Mrs Nicholson, regularly visit and tend to the plants / fruit and vegetables.

Also this week congratulations to the whole gardening team for winning the LCFS Silver Award - a brilliant achievement!
